Blendabilities - Quality Control Issue

Stampin' Up! is experiencing quality control issues with the Blendabilities markers. The item numbers for ALL Blendabilities have been turned off - this includes Blendabilities in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  At this time, backorders for Blendabilities will not be fulfilled.  If you have Blendabilities
on backorder, please stay tuned for future information.

It's frustrating to have items unavailable, but I commend Stampin' Up! for removing a product that doesn't meet their quality control standards.  Please be patient while they get to the bottom of this problem to correct.

Remember - tomorrow (March 1st) four BRAND NEW, NEVER BEFORE SEEN, EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED EDITION Sale-A-Bration products will be released!  These items will be available during the entire month of  March with a $50 qualifying order.

Lotus Blossom

Hi there!  Well I'm back today with a beautiful stamp set called, Lotus Blossom.  This set can be yours for FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! purchase (before s/h and tax) during Sale-a-Bration.  This little 3x3 note card was received by each customer who placed an order with me in December.  (Forgot to post it back then)  The stamping process is opposite of what we are used to doing.  The darkest color is stamped first (Rose Red was used here).  The next layer is Strawberry Slush, with Pink Pirouette as the final layer.  This is a photopolymer set so it really sticks to the clear block!  There are tabs on the flower images to aide in the positioning of each layer.  (It helps that the stamps are clear, too!)  Just make sure the tabs point in the same direction and you'll have no problem stamping a perfect image.
Some retired Modern Medley Designer Series Paper was used for the background of the note card and for the envelope (shown below).  The Envelope Punch Board was used to make the envelope.  Boy, and to think I almost didn't get one of those!  I use it all of the time.

By the way, Stampin' Up is releasing four new Sale-a-Bration freebie products on March 1st.

Stay warm and have a great weekend.  Thank you for visiting today!

Watercolored Painted Petals

Hi there everyone.  Thought I'd better post something before you all lose interest and I forget how to post.  (That's assuming anyone out there does read my blog.)  Thank you for being patient during my absence.  Life has/is crazy busy with legal issues and sorting through my husband's personal effects.  I don't know how often I'll post, but for now here is a 3x3 note card that was slipped into each customer's order bag in January.
This set called, Painted Petals, appears in the 2015 Occasions catalog.  Love it!  There is also a suite of coordinating products - Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, and the Spring Flowers embossing folder.
The watercolor effect for the notecard was achieved by first spritzing some water onto the watercolor paper, then spritz the stamp before applying to the paper.  Each project will vary, depending on the amount of spritzing.  That's OK because each one will be a mini work of art.

Must tend to some household chores and paperwork.  Thank you so much for coming by today!
