The Open Sea
Hi there! It's been a busy time since my last post. My oldest daughter, who lives in Miami, was visiting and staying with me for the birth of my grandson/her nephew. He finally arrived Thursday morning (2-25-16) at 6:02 am, weighing in at 8 pounds 1 ounce! We are beyond thrilled! Momma and baby are now home, as of yesterday. Not sure how consistent posting will be, but I'll try to do better.
Soooo, here is a card that was in my Card Buffet line-up. The Open Sea (by Stampin' Up!) was the stamp set used for this masculine card. We need more of those, right? The outside sentiment came from the set, Fabulous Four. The color scheme is Night of Navy, Real Red, and Crumb Cake.
That's all for now. Need to get busy on some neglected house cleaning. Thank you for stopping in today!

Raggedy Ann
Inspiration: Pam Loris |
Hi there! I'm back with a cute punch art Raggedy Ann card. Seems I have an affinity for Raggedy Ann and Andy brought about after my girls were born. When my oldest daughter was little, a good friend of mine made her a set of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. (I'm talking hand sewn!) Fast forward to the youngest daughter's first birthday celebration, where she received a Raggedy Ann doll from my mom. It was destiny coming across Pam's cute Raggedy Ann card. I just had to create one for my Card Buffet. Raggedy Ann is made from Stampin' Up! Framelits and punches. Her hair bow was made using the Bow Builder punch and some retired Designer Series Paper called Painted Blooms. A marker was used to draw some facial features. The birthday sentiment inside is from the Something to Say set.
Must get crackin'. Have a great day and thanks for stopping in for a visit!

Wild Flowers
Inspiration: Laurie Unger
The card featured above was designed with the Wild About Flowers set by Stampin' Up! and was one of the selections at my Card Buffet. Love, love, love this set! The colors are Elegant Eggplant and Smoky Slate. A bit of dimension was added to the strip of Smoky Slate by using the Fluttering embossing folder. The color palette and simplicity of this card makes it possible to use as a birthday card, as well as a sympathy card.
Need to get busy on a project. Thank you so much for coming by today!
