Delicate Doilies

Hi there!  This will be a quick post so I can get to bed.  We have our granddaughter tonight since I'll be at the Louisville Regional on Thur.  Enjoyed the Girls Getaway retreat soooo much!  I didn't produce many cards - just vegged!  We had a blast.  I actually watched the World Series games on Thu and Sat.  Real shocker to my family! lol  I don't dislike sports - just not my first choice in TV programs.  We did watch a movie (or rather I did), "The King's Speech".  Really enjoyed it.  I never knew that Queen Elizabeth's father was a stutterer.  Enough of the history lesson and on to the card.  I really need to get to bed.  Those late nights with the girls are catching up with me!

I discovered that the make n takes we did last month at Sarah Klasing's class were never posted.  So... here is one of the cards we made.  It's amazing how a totally different look is created when the doilies are colored in.  The color combinations are endless!
The doilies were heat embossed with white embossing powder (pretend those white flecks aren't there), then colored with markers.  I think we used Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo.  Sorry I can't remember!  The ribbon is Chocolate Chip.
The Pieces of Heart Demo dinner meeting is tomorrow.  Looking forward to that!  OK going to bed now.  Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
