Hi there! I'm back with a sampling of some of the great demonstrations we saw at the Holidaze Event for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators (and guests) held September 22 in Arnold, MO. Sally Nusbaum organizes two of these events each year. She puts a lot of time and hard work into planning them. (Plus she is just a real fun person to be around.) I love attending these events! There is always something to learn and new people to meet! For example, the above display is of a technique called Faux Patina. Mary Derhake did an excellent presentation showing us how to achieve this look based on instructions by Angie Leach found
here. I have been wanting to try this technique so I was uber excited to actually see it done. (I'm more of a visual person anyway.) Can't wait to try it! I'm still working on projects but as soon as they are completed, I'll share my experiment of this technique with you.
Had a productive day with the Wednesday girls finishing up kits for our upcoming Christmas Card Workshop being held on Oct 6th. Now it's time to hit the hay. Thank you for stopping in for a visit!
