Dinomite Birthday!

Hi there!  Life is getting back to quasi-normal around here after all the flooding.  Well, at least for those who didn't have water damage or totally lost their homes/businesses.  My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected.

On a lighter topic, the card for today has a background made a long time ago using the Work of Art set by Stampin' Up!  It was found while sorting through all the bits and pieces of stamped items not used on projects, for one reason or another.  Do you have an accumulation of such things, too?  The color palette is Island Indigo, Wild Wasabi, and Smoky Slate.  Images on the focal piece are from another Stampin' Up! set, No Bones About It.   Love this set, especially for those young and "old" people in your life.  Ha!

Must sign off to finish up a few things before picking up my granddaughter for an overnight visit.  Thank you for stopping by today!  Your visits are always appreciated!

No Bones About It

Hi there!  Hope you had a great weekend.  Mine was a busy one so it's taking me longer to get things done today.  Guess that's called getting older.

Here is a card made with the No Bones About It  and Work of Art stamp sets - both by Stampin' Up!  Don't have the "right" Designer Series Paper?  Make your own!  The above background panel was pulled from my stash made a while back.  The ink colors used for the Work of Art "blob" image are Island Indigo, Smoky Slate, and Gumball Green (retired).  The dinosaur skeleton on the focal piece was stamped using black ink, then the Smoky Slate body was stamped over the skeleton image.  Since this is a photopolymer set, it was easy to align the images.

Go have some fun making your own backgrounds.  The possibilities are endless!

Thank you for coming by today!
