Sunburst

Hi there!  Hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Mine was busy and fun.  Saturday we had our Christmas Card Workshop.  A huge thank you goes out to our wonderful friends/customers who helped make it a success!  We've already scheduled our 2014 date!  Mark your calendars for Sep 27, 2014 to attend our next Christmas Card Workshop, which will be bigger and better.
Now for the "sunburst" card.  This technique has been all over the internet.  I used Shannan Teubner's instructions found here (scroll down to Apr 22 blog post).  The Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! is Venetian Romance.

Stamps: Happy Day

Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Island Indigo, Venetian Romance DSP, Vanilla

Ink: Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding

Tools: Apothecary Framelits, Chalk Talk Framelits, Embossing Folders = Argyle, Fancy Fan, Perfect Polka Dots, Pretty Print, Beautifully Barouque

Other:  Baked Brown Sugar Ruffled Stretch ribbon, Dimensionals, sponges, clear block

Here is another version using a different print from the same DSP pack as above.  (Sorry for the greenish-yellow streaks that are appearing in the photo.  Don't know what's causing that!)  The sentiment is from a now retired set, Ciao, Baby.
