Happy New Year - Soon!

Hi there!  Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Did you gobble til you wobbled?  I know I did!  So now it's the mad rush for the Christmas season.  Speaking of Christmas, that brings us to the last Camp card. If you don't get those Christmas cards made this year, how about a Happy New Year card?  This card showcases the Pennant Parade set, which was used to make the party hat. You can use the same image to make trees - Christmas or just plain trees.  It is such a versitle set.

The hat was stamped in black ink.  Use a glue pen in the white spaces, then sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds.  The square punch is used to nip out the end of the flag - make sure it's even on both sides and that the point will be in the middle.  I envisioned the circles image from the Circle Circus set to be "tiny bubbles".  Makes me wanna sing (for those of you who remember Don Ho's song).  lol  Anyway, stamp Versamark where you want the gold "bubbles", sprinkle with embossing powder, and heat set.  Repeat this process for the silver circles.

All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Circle Circus, Pennant Parade, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Black, White
Ink: Black, Versamark
Tools: Heat tool, 3/4” Square punch, Embossing Buddy, paint brush
Other: Gold and Silver embossing powders, Dazzling Diamonds, glue pen, Rhinestones

This is a scheduled post because I'm meeting my stamping friends for breakfast and then we'll head to a crop so we can be there when the doors at 7 a.m. to stamp ALL day!  Crazy, huh?  Yeah, but it's cheaper than therapy - maybe! lol  Some people shop, we stamp.

Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by!

Maculine Card

Hi there!  Had a few men with birthdays this month.  Here is a card that went out to a couple of them.
This card could easily be changed to a feminine one just by using pastel colors.  You could stamp a whole sheet of card stock then cut it down to size.  Wish I'd thought of that when I made this!  Duh!  It's still an easy card.

Stampin Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted
Stamps - Circle Circus, Perfect Punches
Paper - White, Black, Gray
Ink - Black, Gray, Cherry Cobbler
Other - Square Lattice embossing folder, Wide Oval punch, dimensionals

I'm almost finished preparing for Stamp Camp on Saturday.  I'll try to post a sneak peek for you later.  Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Edible Arrangement

Hi there, it's me again!   Found a photo of a centerpiece that I made for one of my Stamp Camps.  The really great thing is not only is it adorable but it's edible!  It is made from large gum drops that were purchased at the grocery store (you know - those packages for .99).  Just push the sharp end of a wooden skewer into the bottom of a gum drop.  I actually snipped the skewers to get different  lengths.  Arrange your "flowers" in a container, which has styrofoam or marbles in the bottom to hold your "stems" in place.  If you prefer more of a finished look, the skewers could be colored with a green Stampin' Write marker or wrapped with floral tape.  The collars for the gum drops were made by using the largest Circle Circus stamp then punched out with the Scallop Circle punch.

How cute is that?  This would be a fun table display for Mother's Day, a graduation celebration, birthday party, or a kids party.  The inspiration came from my good friend, Pam D'Urso.  My terra cotta pot is an old project that I stamped when I first began stamping.  (The design has faded because it wasn't sealed.)  The polka dot bow adds a fun touch.

Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping in today!
