Hi there! I'm back with another card image that has been sitting in the computer waiting to be posted. The focal piece is from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, which was in the 2015 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. Such lovely paper! I felt the DSP was elegant enough for a sympathy card to send to my daughter's friend, who lost her grandma a few months ago. This card was totally designed from bits and pieces (current and retired) that we all seem to accumulate over time. So go check out your "bits and pieces" to see what you can make!
Thank you for stopping by today! Your visits are always welcome!

Raggedy Ann
| Inspiration: Pam Loris |
Hi there! I'm back with a cute punch art Raggedy Ann card. Seems I have an affinity for Raggedy Ann and Andy brought about after my girls were born. When my oldest daughter was little, a good friend of mine made her a set of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. (I'm talking hand sewn!) Fast forward to the youngest daughter's first birthday celebration, where she received a Raggedy Ann doll from my mom. It was destiny coming across Pam's cute Raggedy Ann card. I just had to create one for my Card Buffet. Raggedy Ann is made from Stampin' Up! Framelits and punches. Her hair bow was made using the Bow Builder punch and some retired Designer Series Paper called Painted Blooms. A marker was used to draw some facial features. The birthday sentiment inside is from the Something to Say set.
Must get crackin'. Have a great day and thanks for stopping in for a visit!

Watercolored Painted Petals
Hi there everyone. Thought I'd better post something before you all lose interest and I forget how to post. (That's assuming anyone out there does read my blog.) Thank you for being patient during my absence. Life has/is crazy busy with legal issues and sorting through my husband's personal effects. I don't know how often I'll post, but for now here is a 3x3 note card that was slipped into each customer's order bag in January.
This set called, Painted Petals, appears in the 2015 Occasions catalog. Love it! There is also a suite of coordinating products - Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, and the Spring Flowers embossing folder.
The watercolor effect for the notecard was achieved by first spritzing some water onto the watercolor paper, then spritz the stamp before applying to the paper. Each project will vary, depending on the amount of spritzing. That's OK because each one will be a mini work of art.
Must tend to some household chores and paperwork. Thank you so much for coming by today!
