Pillow Top Technique Stamp Camp Card

Hi there and Happy Thanksgiving eve!  Today's card was made using the Pillow Top technique, which looks difficult to achieve but it is very easy.  The girls really liked doing this technique.  My friend and fellow Demonstrator, Jayne Singleton, used this technique that she found on Pinterest (what did we ever do before Pinterest? lol) at her Camp.  I had to try it, too, with a few minor changes.

Snow Much Fun

Hi there!  Going through some cards that didn't make the cut for Stamp Camps, swaps, or this years Christmas card for various reasons.  The above snowman card in non-traditional Christmas colors is one of the outcasts.  I really like the card but it's too labor intensive for my purposes.

Stamps: Snow Much Fun
Paper: Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Silver Glimmer
Ink: Black StazOn, Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzelberry, Craft White
Other: Blender pen

A Little Pie Never Hurt

Hi there!  Been busy working on projects that I can't share.....yet.  The little 3x3 note card above is one that I can share!  Each of my customers received this note card in their bag as a small token of my appreciation for their October order.  The background paper is the retired Autumn Spice DSP.   (can you say paper hoarder)  The "pie plate" is a 1-3/4" circle punched from Pool Party.  The scallop circle is punched from Vanilla with edges inked in Crumb Cake.  The filling is Pumpkin Pie, of course!  Cut out a slice and that's it.  For the sentiment, I used the Tiny Tags stamp set and punched it out with the Word Window punch - then fed it through the back of the punch to shorten it.  Mmmm, makes me hungry for pumpkin pie!

Must run to finish up some things for tonight.  Tomorrow I'll be in the kitchen cooking for a family get-together on Saturday.  Thanks for coming by today!

Gently Falling Sympathy

Hi there!  Popping in real quick with an easy but stunning sympathy card.  Inspiration for this card came from Lyssa Zwolanek - more like CASE'd actually.  lol  I did change the colors and used a different embossing folder, and white brads.  The lighter tones of some of the leaves was achieved by stamping off. (After you ink up your stamp, stamp off on some scratch paper first, then onto your project.)

Stamps: Gently Falling, Loving Thoughts
Paper: White, Perfect Plum
Ink: Perfect Plum

Vintage Thank You

Hi there!  I'm back from a nasty bug that had me in bed for almost a week.  Glad that's over!  So how about getting right to the point....the above card.  This is one of a gift set made for my SIL, who recently celebrated a birthday.  She's very active in her community and is always in need of note cards.
The embossed lines were made with the Simply Scored Scoring tool - on the wrong side at 1/2" and 5/8" on all four sides.  Flipped the card right side up and stamped the flower image from Fresh Vintage, which is now retired.  The sentiment is from Blooming with Kindness.  Very easy card and smart looking, too, at least in my opinion.

All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Fresh Vintage, Blooming with Kindness
Paper: White
Ink: Black
Tools: Simply Scored Scoring Tool

That's it for now.  Thank you so much for coming by today!
