Hi there! Yesterday was a busy day - just didn't get around to posting. Wednesday night was the Stampin' Up! Catalog Kickoff. What a great time meeting up with friends and making new ones! Such a fun evening! The new Occasions Catalog is full of awesome products - my wish list is ready! We can pre-order beginning today, which is just one of the benefits of being a Demonstrator! Woo hoo!
Now about the card above, which is a gift card holder. It's not just for Christmas. Change the DSP to fit the occasion. Below is an open view, with a peek at the gift card insert. It was made with the Envelope Punch Board. I used the retired Slot Punch to keep the gift card in place.
The Hostess Club members made this card at our meeting last month. Watch France Martin's video HERE for directions to make a batch of gift card holders to have on hand for the holidays - or any day.
Must go place my pre-order now! Have a great weekend and thanks for coming by for a visit today!

Patterned Occasions Get Well
Hi there and happy Friday! This week sure went fast. Ha! They all seem to go fast these days! So, I won't waste your time - just get right to the card du jour. This sample was made at Carla Spradling's Card Buffet back in February. Unfortunately, some of the products are no longer available since they were Sale-a-bration (SAB) items. The Band-Aides from the Patterned Occasions set were stamped, then cut out and popped up on Dimensionals.
All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted
Stamps: Patterned Occasions (SAB), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Summer Starfruit, Sycamore Street DSP (SAB), Sahara Sand, White
Ink: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit
Other: Word Window punch, Sycamore Street button pack (SAB), linen thread, Scallop border punch, corner rounder, snips, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder
Must run to get started packing for a trip to Pam D'Urso's "Little House on the Prairie Retreat"! The Pieces of Heart team members (and adoptees) will gather at Pam's for a weekend of stamping FUN!!!! We are having a shoebox swap - a one layer card. Yikes, what a challenge! It's OK, I have mine ready to go. Pam mentioned that we will also be playing Bingo. Played that at her sister, Penny's, retreat in Texas a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. OK, really must run. Have a great weekend and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Bright Blossoms
Hi there and happy Monday!
Here is one of the projects from Stamp Camp held this past Saturday.
A big heartfelt thank you goes out to the awesome group of gals who attended!!! They were so understanding when I had to reschedule the date for an emergency trip out of town. Then the night before Camp, I thought I would have to reschedule a second time because of an injury sustained while trying to kill a spider...on the ceiling. Just before going to bed, I spied that little guy right over the bed! There was no way he could be in the same room - especially over my bed! I'd probably end up swallowing him in my sleep. Gross! I stood on the bed to reach him then lost my balance and came down hard on the floor bearing all my weight on my right foot. The shock of that was a major spasm or charlie horse in the calf area, which radiated up and down my leg. I could not bear any weight on my right leg. I took some aspirin, used a heating pad, and went to bed. Fortunately, it was better in the morning and I could at least drag my leg to walk. It was slow going, though. The girls were very patient with me! A special thank you to my wonderful friend who practically unloaded/reloaded the car for me and set up. What a blessing to have a friend like her! Thanks, girlfriend!
Oh...I did get that spider in case you were wondering!

June Stamp Camp Projects
Hi everyone! We had storms again over the weekend. Woke up this morning to rain, then no power. Ugh! Fortunately, it was restored around 1 pm so I didn't have to throw out the refrigerated/frozen food. What a way to start the week. It sure wasn't conducive to an already busy week! What's that saying... "Life isnt about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain." Well, I should be ready to hit Broadway soon! lol
OK back to business. Here is one of the projects from my Fond Farewell Stamp Camp this past Saturday.
Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted
Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Silhouette Sentiments (Level 1 Hostess set)
Paper: White, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue DSP (retired)

Funny story about Stamp Camp. We were waiting for a couple of people to show up when the electricity went out in the restaurant! I was wondering to myself if I'd have to cancel Camp again because of no power, which is what happened in April (due to the tornado). We sat in the dark for about 10 minutes before the lights came back on. Whew, so glad they did! Otherwise, it would have been our farewell. lol
OK, need to get to bed. (Even though this shows being posted 2 hrs earlier. I guess Blogger is on Pacific time.) I'll have more tomorrow. Gotta keep you in suspense.
Thanks for stopping by!

May Buddy Swap
I am late posting this but wanted to share a cute card with you. I participate in a monthly Buddy Swap among local area Demonstators. We're always looking for new ideas, right? Swapping one or two cards a month is also very do-able! The card shown below came from my friend, Deana Schultz.
Supplies used (that I see):
Hello Blossoms stamp, Itty Bitty punch pack, Scallop border punch, Square Lattice embossing folder, Old Olive satin ribbon, pearls
