Sassy Thinking of You

Hi there!  I'm back with another Card Buffet sample.  It was primarily CASE'd from Deb Currier with a few changes to make it my own!  lol  I added a scallop border to the sentiment piece and used the whole stem of leaves cut from the Secret Garden Framelit.  The gingham pattern on the flag was made with a jumbo wheel.

All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Flower Shop, Sassy Salutations
Paper: Pacific Point, Old Olive, White, Polka Dot Parade DSP
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point
Tools:  Woodgrain embossing folder, Pansy punch, Gingham jumbo wheel, Secret Garden Framelits - leaf, Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, scissors
Other:  Dimensionals, clear blocks

Remembering Your Birthday

Hi there!  Ready for another week?  And can you believe it's July already?  Wow, time is zooming by!  Rather than spend time on chit chat, how about some details on the above card?  I took inspiration from Deb Currier's card here (scroll down to June 27th post) using Stampin' Up! Washi tape (new this year!) on an angle.  The sentiment and candle are from new sets in the 2013-14 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

I decided to participate in The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge from LeAnne here since my card covers the spaces - birthday, yellow, ribbon!  This is my first blogging challenge.  How fun!

All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted
Stamps: Remembering Your Birthday, Cycle Celebration
Paper: Melon Mambo, White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette marker
Other: Daffodil Delight seam binding, rhinestones, Dazzling Diamonds (on the flame)

That's it for now.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

Autumn Days

How are you on this Monday?  Hope you had a great weekend.  Last week and the weekend was busy, busy, busy for me!  Saturday I attended the Happy Holidaze Demo event organized by the Glitter Inks.  Wow, there was a ton of  information to absorb!  The demonstrations and our Make n Takes were great!  Have you ever heard of Hog's Wart School of BBQ?  OMG, they catered our lunch and it was sooooo good!  I had the pulled pork.  Yum, yum!

Had a wonderful group of ladies at my Stamp Camp yesterday.  (Thanks again ladies for coming!)   One of the cards they made was a simple, yet striking card that I CASE'd from Debra Currier.  You can see her card here - scroll down to her Sep 5, 2011 blog post.  I made a few minor changes.  Thanks Debra!
