Hello Easter Blossoms

Hi there!  Thought I'd take a break from tax stuff and post a photo of the card that I mailed to a friend who is in the hospital.  This is one of the cards made with the Wednesday girls.  It's a CASE of Chat's card click here to see her card - scroll down to Mar 17th post.  We changed a couple of things.  I used a different sentiment than everyone else because I knew it was going to my sick friend.

Another Easter Card

Hi there!  Here is an Easter card that was mostly a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Teneale Williams.   You can see her card here - posted Mar 11 
I only made a few minor changes.  The first being the Pear Pizzazz piece under the focal image.  I didn't have any DSP with me so I embossed the Pear Pizzazz card stock on my ScorBuddy to simulate striped paper.  I was pleased with the results.  The Pearls were left off of the Baja Breeze panel, the eggs are in a different color order, and I used Baja Breeze ink to stamp the sentiment.  She made such a beautiful card so why change it!  Thanks Teneale for the inspiration.

Tonight we Demos are meeting at Patty's house to work on our swaps for Saturday's Celebrate Summer Demo event.  (Looking forward to that!  It's like going to a mini convention.)  There are rumors that at tonight's meeting Don, the smoothie aficionado aka Patty's husband, just might be manning the "smoothie bar".  Hmmm, an evening with friends to stamp and slurp (er, I mean sip) some smoothies.  It's a tough job but somebody's gotta do it!  We have a good time - smoothies or no smoothies!  If you have ever thought about becoming a Demonstrator, give me a call.  I'd love to have you on my team and you can join us in the fun!

Another Card - and Post

Hello again!  Just wanted to share with you a sample of the adorable cards my friend (and upline), Pam D'Urso, sends to me.  Here is the Easter card she made from the Easter Blossoms set, which is now retired as of April 30th.  Pam is the "Queen of Clean and Simple" in my book.  I try the CAS look but fail to attain her style - so I copy her cards! lol.  I just love this card.  Who am I kidding?  I love ALL of her cards! 

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The egg colors are Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz

Springtime Vintage and Elements of Style Samples

Hi there.  Popping in real quick to show you another card (sample #3). The layout for this  card was inspired by Saturday Sketch Challenge (SSC194) on Stamping 411. Go to the March 11 post here if you'd like to see the sketch.  I cut the Not Quite Navy Curly Label in half, then adhered them to the ends of the sentiment to give the illusion of a mat.
