Gently Falling Sympathy

Hi there!  Surprise - I'm posting today.  Ha!  This is really gonna be quick since I'm on a very tight schedule today.  Above is a card that was displayed on our January and February Card Buffet.  How about some measurements to make it?  It doesn't have to be a sympathy card.  I used the solid leaf image from Gently Falling.  Stamp full strength, then stamp again (without applying more ink) for the lighter images.  This is known as second generation stamping.  Repeat the process - ink up, stamp twice.  Do that a few times until you get the look you want.  Stamp the sentiment on the strip.  Hint: It's easier to put the brads through both layers (the strip and the embossed panel) before adhering to the card base.  You'll have to let me know if you make this card.  Enjoy!  Here are the dimensions:

Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Gently Falling, (inside - Loving Thoughts or Blessings from Heaven)
Paper: Perfect Plum, White
Ink: Perfect Plum
Tools:  Fancy Fan embossing folder, 1/8” hole punch
Other:  White mini brads (non-SU), clear block

White card base = 5-1/2 x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” and folded
White Fancy Fan embossed panel = 4” x 5-1/4”
Perfect Plum mat = 3” x 4-14”
White stamped piece = 2-3/4” x 4”
White sentiment strip = 1” x 4”

Ok, must run.  Chances of a blog post tomorrow are slim.  So with that, hope you have a great weekend!  Thank you for coming by for a visit today!  Your visits are always appreciated!
