Fall is in the Air... and New Items on Sale!

Hi there!  We're experiencing cooler temps here in the Midwest.  Fall is definitely in the air!  Today's card reflects the change of season with pumpkins that are in abundance right now.  Lisa Fleming provided inspiration for my card.  Thank you, Lisa!  You can see her version here (posted Sep 1st).  There are a few changes - like omitting the wreath, adding a pumpkin and some leafy vines.  This card was displayed on the sample board at our Card Buffet for September and October.

Blooming Wedding

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing a sample made by Mary Taylor, who is the other half of the Card Buffet team.  This is such a stunning card and can be used for other ocassions just by changing the sentiment.  She used the flower image from Blooming with Kindness.  The sentiment from Label Love is matted on a black piece punched from the Label Bracket punch, then adhered to an image from Chalk Talk and cut out with the coordinating Framelit.  The Modern Mosaic embossing folder was used on the white embossed panel.

This evening we have a Christmas Card Workshop team meeting.  Must get some things done before it's time to leave.  Thank you for stopping by today!

Basic Chalk Talk

Hi there and happy Monday!  This will be a quick one since the granddaughter spent the night and will be up very soon, raring to go.  Lol!  Today's card is another Card Buffet sample.  Unfortunately, the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (Birthday Basics) is now retired.  This card was totally CASE'd from Debbie Simonis.  You can view her card by clicking here and going to her April 8th blog post.   The supplies used for this card is listed below.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a peek at my blog today!

Lovely Hardwood

Hi there!  It's been gray and rainy all week.  Looks like the sun is making an appearance today!   Enough talk about the weather - let's get to the card, which was on our Card Buffet display board.  The background was stamped in Soft Suede onto Pistachio Pudding cardstock with Stampin' Up!s Hardwood background stamp.  The trees are from the Lovely as a Tree set (and will still be available in the new catalog).  A number of sentiments can be used on the inside since I've chosen a rather generic outside sentiment from Chalk Talk.  There's a masculine appearance to this card, but it could also be used as a sympathy card.

Must sign off now to work on some projects and get ready for a crop this weekend.  Thank you so much for coming by today!

Notecard Thanks

Hi there and happy Friday!  Today I'm sharing the 3x3 customer thank you notes that were included in all November orders.  Forgot to post them last month.
The Curly Label punch was used for the scarecrow and his hat.  (The hat was turned in the opposite direction and folded up a bit on one end.)   Stampin' Up!s Linen Thread was used for his hair.  The mouth was drawn on with a marker.  A snippet of Pumpkin Pie cardstock for a nose and some non-Stampin' Up! googly eyes completes this guy.

Temperatures are going to be above freezing for the week.  It's time to venture out after being inside for almost a week.  Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping in for a peek today!

Last of the Gently Falling Set

Hi there and happy Friday to you!  Hope your week went well.  We are back into cooler temps today and for the rest of the weekend.  Yeah!

Here is the last card of the gift ensemble that I made from bits and pieces of projects that were left over or didn't make the cut.  This time the whole stamped panel of Gently Falling leaves was used for the background, along with a portion of a woodgrain embossed piece (non-SU!).  A couple of leaves from the Autumn Accents die and sentiment from Chalk Talk were added as an embellishment, as well as the ribbon (retired).

A gift needs to be presented in some sort of packaging, right?  So, I made a box with our new Envelope Punch Board!  Love it, love it, love it!  This box was easy peasy with this awesome new tool from Stampin' Up!  Here is the box, which has an embellished belly band using more of my leftover bits and pieces.

And here is a look at the complete gift ensemble.

Must run to make sure everything is ready for a customer's Workshop tomorrow.  Afterwards, I'll be meeting up with my stamping peeps for an overnighter.  Need to get packed.  Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in today!
