Hi there! It's been quite some time since I've posted any photos of cards from my Card Buffets. Above is a card that showcases the Helping Me Grow and Timeless Textures stamp sets by Stampin' Up! The Soft Sky panel was stamped with the flourish image from Timeless Textures using Soft Sky ink. Black ink was used to stamp the flowers onto the White oval. A Wisteria marker was used to color the flowers in random brushstrokes. (Ink was transferred to the lid of the Elegant Eggplant ink pad by pushing on the closed lid, then applied by brushstrokes with the Aqua Painter.) A Garden Green marker was used for the stems. Soft Sky ink was applied with the Aqua Painter around the flowers for some added color. A Soft Sky bow and butterfly (stamped with a different image from the Timeless Texture set for some added dimension) was added to the oval focal piece for a finishing touch.
That's it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!

Double Drapery Fold Technique
Hi there and happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend and you're ready for a technique. It's another drapery fold technique - this time a double fold. (You can glimpse the single/regular drapery fold in my April 8th blog post HERE.) The Designer Series Paper used is some really old Stampin' Up! DSP called Cottage Wall. (Yes, I'm one of those people who hate cutting into that pretty paper! This year I'm determined to change my ways.) There are videos on You Tube with instructions for this technique. I happened to watch Deb Valder's. Current products used for this card - Botanical Builder Framelits and a sentiment from Jar of Love.
Wishing you a wonderful week! Thanks so much for visiting!!

Painted Blooms Sympathy
Hi there! I'm back with another card image that has been sitting in the computer waiting to be posted. The focal piece is from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, which was in the 2015 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. Such lovely paper! I felt the DSP was elegant enough for a sympathy card to send to my daughter's friend, who lost her grandma a few months ago. This card was totally designed from bits and pieces (current and retired) that we all seem to accumulate over time. So go check out your "bits and pieces" to see what you can make!

Drapery Fold Technique
Hi there! Boy, this week sure flew by! So without further adieu, let's get to the card. The "drapery" fold technique seems to be all the rage on Pinterest , so I decided to give it a try. I used some retired Designer Series Paper called, Twitterpated for the "drapery". Unfortunately, the fold doesn't show up very well in the photo. The flower was made using the Botanical Builder Framelits, which can be found in the 2016 Stampin' Up! Ocassions Catalog. The sentiment is from the Wetlands set. One of my favorite sets.
Better get this posted before it's tomorrow. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in today!

Awesomely Artistic Thoughts
Hi there! Today's card is one that was made months ago and overlooked for posting, so I'm sharing with you now. The card design was CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from Deb Valder's card HERE. The flower image from the Stampin' Up! set, Awesomely Artistic, was randomly stamped onto the card base in black ink. A separate flower image was stamped on a piece of scrap white, water colored with an Aqua Painter, and then cut out before adhering to the focal piece. The colors used were Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz. The circle medallion image was popped up on Dimensionals.
OK, need to sign off since the granddog is wanting some attention now. Thanks for visiting today!

Beautiful Bunch
Hi there! It has been a busy day with having my car serviced (wasn't able to get it done yesterday) and attending a visitation this afternoon. A late post is better than no post, right? lol I'm sharing another card made at Jayne Singleton's Stamp Camp last month. The flower is from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set, which has a coordinating punch. A piece of All Abloom Designer Series Paper and a portion of Hello Honey cardstock cut with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit were used to make the background. The leaves were cut from the new Flower Frenzy die that Stampin' Up! introduced this year in their 2014-15 Annual Catalog.
That's it - gonna go to bed and read for awhile. Thank you for visiting today!

Blooming Wedding
Hi there! Today I'm sharing a sample made by Mary Taylor, who is the other half of the Card Buffet team. This is such a stunning card and can be used for other ocassions just by changing the sentiment. She used the flower image from Blooming with Kindness. The sentiment from Label Love is matted on a black piece punched from the Label Bracket punch, then adhered to an image from Chalk Talk and cut out with the coordinating Framelit. The Modern Mosaic embossing folder was used on the white embossed panel.
This evening we have a Christmas Card Workshop team meeting. Must get some things done before it's time to leave. Thank you for stopping by today!
