Hi there! It's been quite some time since I've posted any photos of cards from my Card Buffets. Above is a card that showcases the Helping Me Grow and Timeless Textures stamp sets by Stampin' Up! The Soft Sky panel was stamped with the flourish image from Timeless Textures using Soft Sky ink. Black ink was used to stamp the flowers onto the White oval. A Wisteria marker was used to color the flowers in random brushstrokes. (Ink was transferred to the lid of the Elegant Eggplant ink pad by pushing on the closed lid, then applied by brushstrokes with the Aqua Painter.) A Garden Green marker was used for the stems. Soft Sky ink was applied with the Aqua Painter around the flowers for some added color. A Soft Sky bow and butterfly (stamped with a different image from the Timeless Texture set for some added dimension) was added to the oval focal piece for a finishing touch.
That's it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!

Basic Swallowtail Butterfly
Hi there and happy Monday! Hope you all had a happy holiday! Can you believe we're almost at the end of another year? The year flew by!
Yesterday I mentioned that I'd have a sample from Club. It is similar to a post from this past summer but an image from the new 2015 Occasion Catalog was incorporated into the mix. The out-of-the-box technique shown in Dawn Griffith's video is one that I felt the girls would like to learn. You can view her video HERE. The background was made by stamping the fern image from Butterfly Basics. This is a new set appearing in the 2015 Occasions Catalog, which goes live January 6. (You are gonna love this new catalog!)
Must get going since the granddaughter is still here. Thanks for coming by for a visit today!

Pam's Surprise Farewell Party
Hi there and happy Monday! Gosh, can you believe next week is Thanksgiving and then all the hustle and bustle begins to get ready for Christmas. Yikes! I'm already sick of the Christmas music some of the stations are playing. Why do they do that??? Let's have Thanksgiving first!
You know how my blog has been neglected lately? Well I can now share one of the reasons for that. We were putting together a surprise farewell party for our "inkcredible" leader, Pam D'Urso. Once we learned of her move date, it was a scramble to organize a party in a short amount of time. The stars and moon must have been aligned just right because it all fell into place! We had a good turn out for such short notice. Our group (Demos, customers, and neighbors) met at Las Fuentas Restaurant. Megan, Pam's daughter, brought Pam about a half hour later. Pam was so surprised. It was great! Her expression was priceless. I took pictures but they did not turn out. (I keep telling you all I'm camera challenged! Hopefully, I can get pics from someone else to post at a later date.) Pam will be moving about three hours away on Friday. : ( We will miss her soooo much - but ya know what that means .... road trip!
Our thinking caps burned up with all that cerebral activity going on to come up with a unique gift for Pam. We decided to pool our resources to present her with a gift card that she'll be able to use to buy whatever her heart desires. Not so unique, but it won't take up much space! lol Well now, that finally brings me to the card for today. It is a criss-cross pocket card. I ran the Neighborhood jumbo wheel (retired) on Whisper White card stock, colored some of the houses using markers & a blender pen, and then cut them out. The image on the little tab is from the Loads of Love Accessories.
The inside has slots to hold the gift card in place and enough room for everyone to sign. I had to make an envelope since the card wouldn't fit in an A2 size envelope. I just took some copy paper and ran the wheel over it several times. Easy enough - and everything coordinated!
Whew, this ended up being quite the novel! lol Thanks for hanging in there with me! Must step away from the computer to finish organizing everything for my Stamp Camp this coming Saturday and work on plans for our Christmas Workshop and Customer Appreciation Open House that Jayne Singleton and I are co-hosting. Busy, busy, busy! Really need to squeeze grocery shopping in there today, too. Must start stockpiling supplies for "Cookie Baking Day" that the youngest daughter and I do every year.
OK, I'm out of here. Thank you so much for stopping in today. Hope your day is fantabulous!

More Stamp Camp Cards
Happy Friday! Do you have big plans for the weekend? I'll actually be hanging around the house - organizing and packing supplies/projects for the girls getaway retreat next week. The longer I pack, the more stuff I take! I vow every time that I'm not gonna haul all that stuff next time - only to find myself doing it again. One of these days! Will it be this time??? Stay tuned.
The last two cards were made from stamps showcased in the Summer Mini catalog, which expires the end of this month. So if you like them, you'll need to purchase before Aug 31. If you do not already have a Demonstrator, I'd be happy to place an order for you! Please see right side bar for contact information.

It's Twice as Fabulous!
Hi happy Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious? I've convinced myself that thirteen is my lucky number since it was the day I was born. I'm just saying! LOL
Ok on to the last two cards that were made at Mary Ellen's Demo Stamp Camp last month.
I just love the neutral tone of this card made with the Fast & Fabulous L-2 Hostess set. The images were stamped on White card stock in Early Espresso ink, then Chocolate Chip ink was sponged on. Both stamped pieces were matted on Early Espresso and adhered to the White card base. Add a sentiment and a Chocolate Chip button tied with twine and you're done. It's a great card for numerous occasions.
Recipe
Stamps: Fast & Fabulous, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Chocolate Chip button from retired Button Latte collection , twine (non SU!)
Our next card is a fun fold - a step card. The flower/plant from Nature Walk was inked with markers and stamped on Very Vanilla. Stamp the butterfly on the plant, then again on a Very Vanilla scrap. Color the scrap butterfly as desired, add some glue to ends and dip in Dazzling Diamonds. Cut out and place over the first stamped butterfly popped up with dimensionals.
The Black side and front pieces have been embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder. The sentiment is from two stamps in the Fabulous Phrases set. I should have used the stamp-a-ma-jig to avoid such a gap between the words. Didn't eyeball that one too well.
Recipe
Stamps: Nature Walk, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Black, Old Olive
Ink: Black, markers - So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Other: Square Lattice embossing folder, So Saffron grosgrain ribbon, oval punches, Dazzling Diamonds, glue pen

A Flower for all Seasons
Edit Post: For some reason Blogger has failed to post my last two days of entries - so I had to do so manually. Noticed on other blogs the last entry was from Wed. What's going on????
Hi there! Just wanted to share another card we made at Mary Ellen's Demo Stamp Camp last month. We used the A Flower for All Seasons set from the main catalog. A square of Regal Rose punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch makes a perfect frame for the stamped focal piece. The turned up corner at the bottom adds a nice touch, too.
Recipe
Stamps: A Flower for all Seasons, Create a Cupcake (sentiment)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Regal Rose, Old Olive, White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, markers - Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Other: Brads, Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon, mat pack, Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, blender pen, dimensionals
Hope you're having a great week. Thanks for coming by today!
