Watercolor Wonder

Hi there!  Today I have another card from Jayne Singleton's Stamp Camp.  The background Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper is matted onto a Calypso Coral panel.  A Tea Lace Paper Doily is wrapped around a tag cut out with the Stampin' Up! Scallop Tag Topper punch, which is adorned with a sentiment flag, Petite Petals flowers, and some Chevron Ribbon & Baker's Twine.  Thanks, Jayne, for another cute card!

Blended Bloom

Hi there and happy Friday!  Do you have plans for this long, holiday weekend?  My plan is to play in my stamp room - maybe even tidy it up a bit. We'll see how that goes! :)  The above card is one that I played around with between projects (that can't be shared just yet) using the Pumpkin and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Up! Blendabilities.  Teeny Tiny Wishes was used for the sentiment and punched out with the Word Window punch.  A Daffodil Delight layer for the sentiment was punched from the Modern Label punch.  A bit of scoring to the sides of the background panel and some Chevron ribbon added the finishing touches.

Another Upright Diamond Fold

Hi there!  I'm back today with another Upright Diamond Fold card.  This one uses the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper - same as yesterday's card.  In fact, everything is the same except a slight change in patterns and colors.  Here is the open view.

Upright Diamond Fold

Hi there!  Today I have a fancy fold for you.  This was a make n take project from the girls getaway retreat back in January that I forgot to share.  Cheryl Renth had the kits ready for us, so I don't have measurements.  Here is a link to Splitcoaststampers for directions.  Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up! was used on the above sample.  A sentiment from Peachy Keen was stamped onto a banner and secured to some 3/4" Chevron ribbon to make a belly band.  Below is the open view. 

This card will not fit in a standard A2 size envelope since it measures 3-1/2" x 6-1/4".  You could use a legal size envelope - with room to spare.  Pretty cool, huh?  Come back tomorrow for another version.

Last of the Swaps

Hi there!  Today is the last of the shoebox swaps from a fun girls' retreat last month.  Our theme was to make a sympathy, get well, or thinking of you card.  The above swap was by Sally Nusbaum.  The sentiment from Sassy Salutations fit perfectly in the center of the Blossom punch.  Both items can be found in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  How about that subtle polka dot background?  That is the new Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (DSP) on page 23 of the 2014 Occasions Catalog.  The finishing touch is the 3/4" Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon.  Who wouldn't feel better after receiving this card?

The next swap was designed by Susan Fields.

Her card is showcasing High Tide DSP (in the 2014 Occasions Catalog), the Banner Blast stamp set, and coordinating Banner punch.  The banner stamp set and punch are FREE products you can earn during Sale-A-Bration!  Some gold Baker's Twine was used for "hanging" the banners.  This is a new item in the Occasions Catalog and also comes in silver.  A circle stamped with an image from Hello, Sailor and matted onto a Pacific Point shape punched from the Curly Label punch makes the perfect embellishment.  What a great masculine card!
