Apple Blossoms

Hi there! Gosh we've been experiencing such great weather the past couple of days - like in the 70's.  I was so worried we'd have snow for our trip to Branson.  The Pieces of Heart Stampers will be hitting the road early in the morning. Woo hoo!  I still have some packing to do so I'll quickly show you a card made with the Apple Blossoms set, which is a Level-2 Hostess set.  The great thing about being a Demonstrator (besides going to Branson AND meeting wonderful people like you) is not only do you get to pre-order items from the new catalogs, but you can order selected Hostess sets.  If you'd like an opportunity like that, contact me HERE to sign up.  Sale-a-bration is a GREAT time to become a Demonstrator because the Starter Kit is 15% off regular price plus you get a bonus bundle (worth $50) absolutely FREE.  (Who doesn't love FREE, huh?)  You earn so many free things and get discounts on the products you order!!  If this doesn't fit into your life right now, invite some friends and/or family to a workshop for some stamping fun. (No experience necessary)  You can earn this Hostess set and more depending on your sales. Contact me. We can discuss either option over a cup of coffee!  SU! is such a great company.  They really care for their Demonstrators and employees.
OK I need to scoot so here is the card for today:

Recipe
Stamps: Apple Blossoms
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Ink:   Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Other: 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches, dimensionals

I'm off and running.  Have a great weekend and be sure to hug those you love!

Let's Rock n Roll

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!
This is a busy week.  Friday is the first half day session of Regionals in Branson, MO.  Can’t wait!  We are meeting at 6 AM (you know I’m not a morning person any more don’t ya?) and piling into a van for the drive there.  A van full of women = non stop talking and laughing.  Our drive will last about as long as the training. lol  The things we do for the love of stamping!  It’s just so exciting to meet other stampers and demonstrators!
On top of getting ready for Branson, I’ll be preparing for my Stamp Camp on Feb 26.  The swaps were completed today so now I can concentrate on packing and getting organized for the Camp.  Well, I could prattle on forever so instead, I’ll show you my swap.  The Rock n Roll technique was used for the flower petals. Ink up your stamp with lightest color (Daffodil Delight), then rock and roll edges on the darker color stamp pad (Poppy Parade) before stamping image. Punch out and assemble petals around a 1" circle for stability.

Recipe:
Stamps: Build a Blossom, Just Believe, Inspired by Nature
Paper: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade
Other: Framed Tulips embossing folder, Blossom Petals punch, Itty Bitty flower punch, brayer, 1" circle

Hope you had a great day!

A Day Without Internet is Like... CRAZY!

Hi there.  The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and my internet is working again!  I've been quiet the last several days because my internet was down. Yes, tragic I know! You can take the TV, but not my internet!  It’s like an addiction.  Fortunately, I was busy with our granddaughter during that time.  Now that life is back to "normal", I have a card to share with you.
This dresser card was CASE’d  from a swap that my friend received at Leadership in Nashville.  Sorry I don’t know who to credit for the original idea.  I needed a baby card so this idea fit the bill perfectly. The cut out portion of the dresser was actually punched out with the Curly Label punch on the original card.  Mine was made with a Nestability since no one (including me) in the stamping group had that punch with them.  So I had to borrow a Nestability for the job.  I don't know which one it was - sorry. You know how babies seem to accumulate tons of stuffed animals?   I added the bunny from a retired set to simulate a stuffed animal, which made my card a little different from the original one.  A little scrap of fabric would be cute hanging out of one of the drawers, too.  You could also easily transform this card into one for a young child just by changing the toy - a ball, a doll, or blocks would do the trick.

Recipe:

Measurements for the card are as follows - base is 4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5-1/2".

The drawers are 1" x 3-1/5" - edges of dresser and drawers are inked with Crumb Cake.

Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Ballet Blue (retired)
Other:  Blender pen, brads (non-SU!), Spellbinders Nestability

Have a great Valentine's Day and thanks for stopping by!

Bloomin' Beautiful

Happy Friday!
This will be quick as I have a lot to do.  Cabin fever is taking hold so I'll be making my break and venturing out today!  I wanted to share a card that will be sent to a friend for her birthday.  This card is made from the retired set, Bloomin’ Beautiful.  It was a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from a card seen Here  I'm not sure if this is the exact same card because I don't remember it being done with Lumiere paints.  I just remember it being sponged - a LOT!  It is a look that Faith is known for - that, and using a lot of layers and dots on most of her cards.  It's kind of her signature look so to speak.

(My apologies for the limited supply list on this card)
Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful (Stampin' Up!), sentiment - unknown source
Inks: unknown - colors similar to Apricot Appeal, Real Red, and Olive Green
Paper: unkown
Other: brads & elastic string - unknown, white Signo gel pen

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping in today!

And Everything Nice...

I needed a thank you card to send to my aunt in AZ.  She sent us a box of lemons and oranges. (BTW - the oranges are huge, juicy, and taste wonderful!)  The card below was from my box of pre-made thank you cards. The little girls in this set are so sweet looking.  Too bad it’s a retired set.  The stamp set is the only thing from Stampin' Up!  The coloring was done with Prisma pencils. The rest of the supplies came from my stash, so not sure which companies should be acknowledged. Sorry!

Stamps: And Everything Nice (retired)
Paper: unknown source
Tools: Marvy Uchida Mega scallop circle punch, circle tool - unknown
Other: Prisma pencils, brads & flowers - unknown source

We've had ice and snow this week (which wasn't so nice).  I have not been out of the house since Sunday!  Tomorrow I plan to dig out my car to attend a Demo get together.  One of my sidelines has graciously invited our group to her home to work on our swaps for the Branson Regional.  We'll have fun "working".

Stay warm and thanks for stopping by!
