Hi there! Thought I'd share one of the cards you can make at my Card Buffet. Just in time for Fall, huh? The stamp set, Acorny Thank You, can be found in the 2015-16 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. There is a coordinating punch for the acorn images. (Purchase the stamp set and punch as a bundle to save an additional 15%.) The Designer Series Paper, Into the Woods, carries out the acorn theme.
Must sign off - lots to do plus errands to run. Thank you for stopping by for a visit!

Butterfly Basics Sneak Peek
Hi there! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Seems that a lot of people are sick, though. It's bad enough being sick, but at this time of year.....doubly bad!
This past weekend I spent a little time in the studio and played around with the new Butterfly Basics set from Stampin' Up!, which is in the new 2014 Occasions Catalog. Loving this set! (Actually, there are a bunch of awesome products in the new catalog AND in the Sale-A-Bration brochure! Just sayin') Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Blendabilities were used to color the flowers. I didn't spend much time coloring/shading, just quick strokes to fill in the petals and leaves. At first, I was going to leave the flowers as they were (stamped in black). They just didn't look right and were begging for color! Lol That really made a difference.
OK, must run to an appointment. Thanks for stopping in today!
All Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Butterfly Basics
Paper: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Black
Ink: Crumb Cake, Memento Black, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Blendabilities

Sneak Peek - Blended Bloom
Hi there! Today I have a sneak peek of a stamp that will be available in the Stampin' Up! 2014-15 Annual Catalog, called Blended Bloom. This flower is such a great image to use with the Blendabilities. Do you think they planned that? :) Coastal Cabana Blendabilities were used here, as well as the Daffodil Delight set for the center of the flower. But wait - there's more! You can also use Blendabilities to color ribbon! I didn't have any Coastal Cabana ribbon or Baker's Twine so I ran the marker (lightest hue) down the length of some retiring Whisper White taffeta ribbon. Love how it turned out and it dried super fast! That's because these markers are alcohol based. The sentiment is from the Wetlands stamp set. (One of my fav's!)
TODAY you can take advantage of discounted retiring items (25% - 50%)! To view products, click here. Don't delay, as products are only available while quantities last! Please contact me if you wish to place an order. You may also place an order through my on-line store. Thank you in advance!
Must sign off for now to finish up some projects and swaps for a Demo event. Have a great day and thank you for stopping in today!

Sneak Peek - Betsy's Blossoms
Hi there! Had a busy weekend and the week ahead looks just as busy. Real quick - here is a card I made to congratulate Pam's daughter and son-in-law on their new home. I wasn't able to attend the Open House but wanted to make a card to tuck a little something inside.
The background on the card base was made by stamping the leaves from the Betsy's Blossoms set (available June 1st) in Versamark ink. An additional wing was stamped, cut out, and popped up with Dimensionals on the stamped bird. The image piece was also popped up with Dimensionals on the card front. The outside "Congratulations" sentiment was stamped with Craft White and the inside sentiment "On your new nest!" was computer generated.
Stampin' Up! supplies used unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Besty's Blossoms, Warmest Regards (retired)
Paper: Garden Green, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, White
Ink: Night of Navy, Garden Green, Versamark, Craft White
Must run! Thank you for stopping in today!

March Stamp Camp Sneak Peek
Hi there! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I attended the Spring Fling Demo Event, which was a lot of fun! Kudos to Sally Nusbaum and everyone else who helped put on this event. Had a great time connecting with friends and meeting new ones. Enjoyed the demonstrations and saw some awesome displays. We had some cute make & takes, too. Looking forward to the next one!
Today I'm moving in slow motion. Gray days and tossing & turning all night are not conducive to a lot of pep! lol I do have a sneak peek of this months Stamp Camp projects, though. If you would like to join us Saturday morning (Mar 10th), please contact me to reserve your spot. My contact information is on the right side bar. Thanks.
OK, that's all for now. Thank you for stopping in today!

January Stamp Camp Sneak Peek
Hi there! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. The weather in St Louis this past week was mild for Jan - like in the 70's! We even set a record for the temps on Thur. It was strange to see so many people in shorts. I almost thought I was in Florida! lol
Today I have a sneak peek of the projects that will be made at my Stamp Camp on Saturday (14th). Ready?
Some of the gals try to figure out the card designs. We'll see how they do with this sneak peek. lol
Finally upgraded my phone over the weekend. I've been waaaay overdue but the phone I had gave me no problems. Then a little piece broke off the hinge area and the challenge began - especially when in use. I had to hold it in my hand and not with my shoulder and head (so I could multi-task). Anyway, I replaced it with a Smartphone! There are so many things you can do with these phones. Oh my! Love playing Angry Birds! I'm addicted to that game - working on my 18th level. It's a tough one. It will be a fun thing to do while waiting wherever.
Today I received a package from Stampin' Up! It was my "Million Dollar Prize" from Penny Thomas (my upline's upline) for being in the top three in sales for the month of November! Woo Hoo! She told me that I should be proud of this accomplishment because there are 80 others! I am proud... but without YOU, my customers, it would not be possible. So a BIG, heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to each and every one of YOU for helping me earn this prize! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And a big thanks to Penny, too, for rewarding us with fabulous prizes. Oh, the prize is a tin of Watercolor Wonder Crayons - Subtles Collection. I have been wanting some of these but never got around to ordering them. Can't wait to play with my new crayons! Who knows? There just might be a project made with them at the next Stamp Camp.
That's it for now. I'm in "cutting card stock" mode for Saturday. Thanks for dropping by today!

Thought it was time to change the look of my blog to coincide with the Fall season! I also figured out how to change the setting for Central Time instead of Pacific Time. That really bugged me! Blogging has been a learning experience... and there's much more to learn.
That does it for tonight. Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping in!

Stamp Camp Sneak Peek
Hi and happy Monday to you! Hope you had a nice weekend. The weather has gotten cooler (and rainy), which puts me in a cooking/baking mood. I didn't bake over the weekend but did make a batch of potato soup, some spaghetti sauce, and fixed lasagna for dinner last night. There will be plenty of leftovers for the week. Love that! I also made some garlic bread and froze it. I melt butter (yep real butter - me and Paula Dean got a thing for buttah!), dip my bread slices in the butter to coat (nothing low cal here!), shake some garlic salt on each slice, and freeze. Makes it so easy for individual servings of garlic bread - just pop what you need into the toaster oven to brown. Yum!
OK let's get down to business at hand. Here is a sneak peek of the cards for my September Stamp Camp held on Sunday the 25th. Had to schedule on Sunday because of our Demo Holidaze event on Saturday. If you live in the St Louis Metro area and would like to attend Stamp Camp, please email me at jsumner731@sbcglobal.net to reserve your spot! Thanks.
Looking forward to the Holidaze event! Sally Nusbaum and the other gals involved in executing these bi-annual "mini conventions" do a fantastic job! Each one has been a blast and we walk away with new ideas and new friendships. (Love my JOB!) I debated about making swaps this time. But...I don't want to miss out on the fun so I'll just make what I can. Ten or twenty swaps is better than no swaps! The Pieces of Heart team is meeting at Patty's Tuesday evening to work on our individual swaps - or just hang out with this cool group! Patty will be serving Candy Corn Punch. Sounds intriguing, huh?
Gosh, can you believe that in a couple of weeks it will be October? Me neither! The first Saturday in October is our annual family reunion (dad's side). I always look forward to seeing everyone! This year will mark 52 years for these annual gatherings! Pretty impressive, don't ya think? Our first reunion was held at Forest Park in 1959. The locations and food has changed over the years. When Mom and my aunts brought food, everything was home made and a lot of it home grown. Most of that generation is deceased or unable to attend the reunions anymore. Now the food is brought by us cousins and our off-spring. The tables are still laden with plenty of food - mostly buckets of chicken and other store bought food. Fortunately, there are still a few of us who prepare home made food to share!
Since I basically had a lazy day yesterday, I need to get to work and start on the laundry. Also need to prepare what I'll take to Patty's tomorrow to finish my swaps for Saturday's Holidaze event. I'm meeting some friends for lunch tomorrow so it needs to be done today!
Have a pleasant day and thanks for coming by!

June Stamp Camp Sneak Peek
Hi friends! Gosh another week has zoomed by. How time flies when you're having fun, huh?
Here is a little peek at the cards that will be made at this months Stamp Camp. I'll post the cards later in the week. It's another busy and fun filled weekend with my Camp tomorrow and Pam's Demo Stamp Camp on Sunday.
Last Saturday was our granddaughter's birthday party, which was held at a local park. The weather was fabulous - especially for this time of year and helped make it an enjoyable day. Miss M seemed to like the ABC book I made for her (Yep, I did a little scrapbooking. Amazing, huh?) but she was busy opening the rest of her gifts, which covered the picnic table. She is one loved child!
OK, here are the cards. Well - parts of them. LOL
That's all for now. Sorry for the quick post (and the dark photo). I need to get ready for bed. Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great weekend!

Hello friends. Just wanted to stop by briefly to post a little sneak peek of the cards we'll be making at Stamp Camp tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be back with more photos this weekend. I still need to get tax information together. Ugh! After that, I can breathe a big sigh of relief! OK enough of that ... here are the cards.
There you have it. Now I must make my exit to finish getting ready for tomorrow. I'll be back! Thanks for stopping by.
